Ardrossan is only an hour by car from Glasgow and the ferry crossing from there is approximately 50mins. The international airport at Glasgow makes Arran a convenient destination for overseas visitors.
Regular daily ferry crossings from Ardrossan to Brodick and from Claonaig to Lochranza.
Booking is required in advance if taking a motor vehicle to the island from Ardrossan.
The Lochranza route operates a restricted service during the winter months.
